What is Grain panel?

Grain panel is a simple transportation solution you can depend upon. Our Corrugated Cardboard grain panels are cost-effective restraining artificial walls. The grain panel acts as closure at the door of the transportation container to hold the product in place. Light weight, double-wall corrugated cardboard with scored flaps enables easy installation. To discharge or empty the container simply cut the grain panel while the container is tilted. VP Ventures grain panels are ideal to load with conveyor, gravity, and tilt loading equipment.

Primary function:

To restrain dry flowable bulk commodities such as lentils, soybeans, barley, peas, malt and other bulk grains.

Specifications:

  • All grain panels are pre-punched to facilitate easy tying to the dunnage.
  • VP Ventures recommends 2” x 4” x 96.25” lumber dunnage.
  • Supplied with or without cable ties.
  • Bulkheads can be used in 20 ft or 40 ft ocean containers.
  • Custom bulkheads for 53’ intermodal ocean containers and trailers are also available upon request.
